Mrs. Eben (Lucille) Salmon, passed away Monday in Prairie View home, where she had resided for nine months. She formerly lived with her husband on route 2. Mrs. Salmon was born Oct. 1, 1879* in Lincoln Mo.**, the daughter of Samuel and Sarah A. Pierce Huffman. On Feb. 3, 1921, in Kansas City, Mo., she became the bride of Eben Salmon, who is surviving. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Miller, Stockton, Mo., and Mrs. Minnie Hoff, San Francisco, Calif.; one brother, Lowell Huffman, Denver, Co. Mrs. Salmon was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
NOTES: *Date of birth on headstone "1889" is wrong. 1880 census shows she was born Oct 1879, as does the 1900 census. **She may have been born in Harp Twp, DeWitt County, Illinois.
