Charlie Mae Berry, age 83, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Holston Manor in Kingsport, Tenn.
She was born January 20, 1933 in Bristol, Tenn., a daughter of the late Charlie R. and Bonnie Grace Davis Berry.
Charlie was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area. She retired from Bristol Jeans and Big Jack Manufacturing. Charlie was a member of Lynwood Bible Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Lucille Berry Carver (144838620), Margaret Louise Cunningham; stepdad, James Chapman; nephew, Billy Cunningham.
She is survived by her nephew, Calvin Cunningham, Jr. and wife Sherry; nieces, Debbie Roberts and husband Billy, Brenda Moore and husband Kent; several great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2016 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benny Bowman officiating.
The committal service will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Roberts, Kent Moore, Billy Cunningham, Jr., Kevin Lombardi, William Baker, and Jason Brown. Honorary pallbearer will be Trevor Russell.
