Annetta was the daughter of Wm H Marburger and Esther Reed Marburger of Upper Bern, Berks Co., PA. She was stuck in the middle of at least 12 siblings, approx. 6 were older and 6 were younger.

Her sisters were: Sarah, Mrs. Ellen LONG, Mrs. Caroline BAGENSTOSE, Mary, Angeline, Amelia, Fietta, Mrs. Catharine WAGNER & Phoebe(?).

Her brothers were: Franklin (1855), Alvin R. (1869) and Charles (abt 1862).

Annetta became the wife of Darius Miller RICK around 1879. They had 5 children, though only 2 outlived them.

Alvin Howard went on to become an engineer and named is daughter after his mother. His son, Howard, passed away in 2009.

Ellen Mahala married Samuel Hafer WAYNE and lived until 1959.

Charles William, Mary Mathilda and another un-named child all died in their infancy (1882, 1888 and 1897, respectively).

Although Annetta is buried with her husband in Salem Belleman's (now known as or part of Fairview), she was baptised and raised in St. Michael's Church in Hamburg, Tilden. This is also where her first child was baptised.
