Gary Tillman Adams, 79, of Danielsville, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016. Born in Carlton, he was the son of the late William Buford Adams & Susie Crow Adams. Mr. Adams enjoyed farming & was a well-known appliance repairman. He was a longtime member of Union Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Jordan Adams; his second wife, Sally Sharp Adams; step daughter, Amy Somers; & one sister, Blanche Dixon.
Survivors include his children, Pam (Ricky) Hanley, Gary (Rose) Adams, Susan (Michael) Perdue, Scott (Faith) Adams & Lisa Adams; step children, Pam Hemminger, Lisa Jackson; siblings, James Adams, Shirley Chandler, Hythen Coile & Sue Chandler; grandchildren, Heather Hanley, Hannah Hanley, Cory Hanley, Vance Walstra, Maggie Adams, Anna Adams, Sam Perdue, Luke Perdue, Ben (Thomasina) Adams, Katie Adams, Elizabeth Adams & Micah Adams; one great grandchild, Seraphina Adams and numerous nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Interment will follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Chandler, Mike Coile, Don Chandler, George Chandler, Greg Adams & Jamie Adams. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 3:00 pm.
