She was born May 30, 1919 at St. Paul to Andrew and Sadie (Buchfinck) Fairbairn. She was married on March 8, 1952 to George C. Ackerman at Lincoln. She was survived by 4 sons [3 sons with wives], 1 daughter and her husband, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren. 1 daughter-in-law, 1 brother and his wife Arnold and Delores in Colorado; 2 sisters-in-laws: Dorothy and Carroll Young, Mary Fairbairn. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her mother-in-law Mary Ackerman Bevins, 1 son Max Ward, 4 grandchildren, 3 brothers: George, Robert, Virgil.
