Ellen F. Horton, 54, of Lafayette, passed away at 9:05 pm Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Rosewalk Village.

She was born August 24, 1961, in Lafayette, the late Clarence and Phyllis Wall Bear Jr. After graduating from McCutcheon High School, Ellen married Jerry Wayne Horton and he survives. Ellen was a receptionist at Arnett Clinic for several years and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren shopping and her two poodles, Bear and Boo.

Surviving along with her husband, Jerry is her daughter, Rachel Horton of Dayton, a son, Johnny Horton (Jenna) of Lafayette, her sister, Sandra Guinn of Dayton and two brothers, Roger Bear (Rose) of Terre Haute and Gary Bear (Cathy) of Lafayette. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Koby and Kenna Myers, Kohen, Kruz and Zax Horton.

Friends may call from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909 with Chaplain Roger Bear officiating. Burial will follow at Wyandotte Cemetery.
