Final rites for Ben Gill Sr., 68, will be held from Nale's Funeral Home, with Rev. Galen Clark officiating.

Mr. Gill died Monday evening at Rest Haven Manor, where he had been a resident since April. He had suffered a stroke prior to this and had been in failing health.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Genevieve Gill of Albion; two daughters, Helen Gill of Albion and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Walsh of Lawrenceville; three sons, Ben Gill, Jr. of Albion, James of Golden Gate and Larry of Flora; 11 grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Longbons and Mrs. Edna Nance, both of Albion, and Mrs. Viola McKibben of San Francisco, Calif.

Mr. Gill had worked for Sherman Morris Elevators for several years and was employed by Albion Stockyards for some time.

He was born June 21, 1905 in Edwards County, the son of Jethro and Mary Marks Gill.

Interment will be at West Village Cemetery.
