MARION, Va. Virginia "Jenny" Armstrong, age 84, went to be with her Lord, which she loved, on Thursday, August 18, 2016. Jenny loved her family and they loved her and she will be missed by all those who knew her. She was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Amanda Elizabeth Armstrong. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Robert Armstrong Jr., Amanda Louise Gray, John L. Armstrong, Daniel Little Armstrong, J. W. Armstrong (her twin), and Donald Armstrong. She is survived by four sisters, Mary Jane freeman and husband, Gene, Carrie Lucille Rupard, Bonnie V. Armstrong and Betty Ann Davidson and husband, Roy; several nieces and nephews to whom she was lovingly known as "Ninny". Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday August 21, 2016, at Henderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgedale Cemetery.
