Krajewski, Gary Cyril

Gary Krajewski was born in Green Bay on March 12, 1966, and died on Pentecost Sunday, May 15, 2016. He was the honoree at a 50th birthday party on March 12, 2016, attended by 100 friends and family. On April 12, we learned that the lung cancer had returned. One of the many things that Gary taught his family was that "Every day is a gift".

Gary graduated from Annunciation Grade School and Green Bay West High School. Every summer he was the "caretaker" of the family cottage and the "grounds-keeper". Gary took great pride in his rock gardens there. He cut many lawns and shoveled a lot of snow in his lifetime and was always willing to help and lend a hand whenever it was needed by friends and strangers alike. Gary was an all-around optimistic, loving man. He knew how to handle and he loved dogs and they in turn loved and obeyed him. Gary's current partner was Coco, a black lab.

He will be greatly missed by his mother and father, Jacqueline "Jackie" (Dart) and Cyril "Cy" Krajewski; his brother, Stephen "Steve" Krajewski, Madison; his sisters: Lauri (Russ) Steeber, Janesville; Christine "Chris" Krajewski, Petoskey, MI; Sally Greely, Green Bay; and Mary Joy Salzsieder (Terry Koeppel), Phlox, WI.

Gary's nieces and nephews will also miss his presence: Aimee Thomas (John Haney), Carter, Grace and Taylor; Molly Ellertson (Chad), Kai and Elias; Sean Scannel (Stacey), Sean Jr.; Elizabeth Steeber; Jennifer Sailer (Steve), Henry; Megan Greely (Jason Wirtz); Jesse Falk; Erin Miller, Madeline, Olivia, Jack and Violet; Brittany Salzsieder. His aunts and uncles will feel his absence: Karen and P J Faust; Ric (Judy) Desotelle and their families. All of his extended family members and friends grieve his loss.

Friends may call at Annunciation Catholic Church, 401 Gray St., from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Donald Everts officiating. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Gary's name.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Unity Hospice, Annunciation Parish, and the congregations of the Quad Parishes.
