Virginia Pariee Rodgers passed away August 17, 2016.

She was born February 11, 1928 in Oklahoma.

Growing up, she was a water boy in the cotton fields, as well as spent time picking cotton with help from her older sister, Mary. She worked in a shoe factory, egg factory, and was even a welder during WWII.

She raised her daughters for the most part in Montague, California until moving to the Medford area in 1967 where her daughters graduated from high school in Eagle Point.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Linda and son-in-law Dan Farley; sister, Ellen and brother-in-law, Paul Jacobson; brothers, Almus Gazaway, and Roy Gazaway; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Lee Rodgers and daughter, Shirley Rodgers in 2009.

She was loved by all and will be missed.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
