CANAL FULTON -- Edith I. Wirth, 92, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008.Funeral service will be Friday, Oct. 10 at 11 a.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home, 29 E. Main St., Dalton, with the Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Burial will be in Dalton Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
She was born March 24, 1916, in Mifflin County, Pa., to Brown and Margaret (Hooley) Stuter.
A resident of Dalton for most of her life, she had resided at Gaslite Villa Health Care Center for the past three years.
She is survived by son, John "Jack" Wirth of North Canton and Millard "Bill" W. Wirth Jr. of Lynchburg, Va.; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Lutrisa Wirth; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Millard W. Wirth in 1994; brother, Gene Stuter; sister, Marie Shoup; daughter-in-law, Carol Wirth; and an infant brother.
