Glenda H. Howard, 64, of Whitesville, died on August 18, 2016 at Heartford House in Owensboro, KY. She was born on January 18, 1952 in Green River, Wyoming to the late Glen and Clara Cottrell Eley. Glenda was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by two brothers Harold Clausen and Richard Clausen.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Bill Howard; her children, Michelle Irene Damron (J.D.) of Ohio, Clara Leigh Dunning (Greg) of Murray, KY, Harley Bert Aley III (Shirley) of Owensboro, KY, Glen Allan Aley (Marie S.) of Owensboro, Patrick Harold Howard of Whitesville, B.G. Howard (Melanie) of Whitesville and Gina Marie Minton (John) of Corbin, KY; 26 grandchildren including, Damien Howard, who was often in her care; 11 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; one brother, Vernon Clausen (Dottie) of Colorado and three sisters, Judy Logan of Colorado, Laura Ratliff of Paris, KY and Mary Milton (Truman) of Alabama.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2016 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Whitesville, KY. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville. Prayers will be at 7:00 on Sunday. Burial will be in St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery.
