She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Col. Wayne Milo Bundy, Sr.
Betty grew up in Owego, New York and graduated from the Owego Free Academy in 1939. She was Second Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II. On August 2, 1946 she married Wayne Milo Bundy in Reno, Nevada. In 1969 she graduated from Omaha University with a BA.
Survivors include her children, Sue (Jim) Kerbel of Jenison, Michigan, Wayne Milo "Bud" (Pat) Bundy, Jr. of Grand Prairie, Texas and William L. "Bill" (Tamara) Bundy of Port Aransas, Texas; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 4114 SW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78227. Graveside Service with military honors will follow on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband Col. Wayne Milo Bundy, Sr.
