Virginia Elizabeth Kay Duncan, 93, passed away on August 18, 2016 in Tyler.
She was a life-long resident of Tyler, a life-long member of First Baptist Church, and a long-time member of the Rebekah Lodge.
Mrs. Duncan was the daughter of Charlie Mattison Kay and Sarah Elizabeth Harris Kay.
She married Royce DeWitt Duncan in 1943.
Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband R. D. Duncan, her daughter Sarah Duncan Halick, and her grandson David Halick.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Duncan Lance of Tyler and Martha Duncan Morris of Reklaw, and her son, Roland Duncan of Stickney, Illinois. She is survived also by her sister Jean Kay Boucher of Ft. Worth, her sister-in-law Mary Davidson Kay of Richardson, and her sister-in-law Donnie Duncan Messer of Tyler. Mrs. Duncan is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
