"Aline Hogan Chandler Van Meter, 81, of Louisville, passed away August 18, 2016. She was retired from the cosmetic merchandising industry, having worked at Walgreens, J.C. Penney, and Taylor Drugs. In her later years, she was a loving nanny to a special family. She was a regular attendee of Evangel World Prayer Center, and enjoyed playing bingo with her sister, Linda. She was the guiding light of her family and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by 7 siblings. Survivors include her children, Karen Deerr(Woodrow), Bob Chandler(Paula), Steven Chandler(Joyce Lynn), and Jeff Chandler(Diane); 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her fiance', Rhodie Wheeler; her sister, Linda Davenport; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral service will be 12pm Monday, August 22, 2016 at Evergreen Funeral Home with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8pm Sunday. Memorial contributions can be made to Evangel World Prayer Center."
