He was employed by Penn Pump, Palmer Township, and served in the Army during World War II. He graduated from Wilson High School in 1935 and his hobby was building miniature rooms. He was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ, Wilson.
Survivors: Wife; two daughters, Nancy E. Correll, Penny M. Werner; two son, George M. Jr., Donald E. two stepdaughters, Kathleen Edinger, Joan Reaser; stepson, Paul Reaser; brother, Walter; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, two stepgreat-grandchildren. A daughter, Carol Ann, died in infancy, and five brothers and two sisters died earlier.
Services: 2 p.m. Friday, Ashton Funeral home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Call from 1 p.m. until the services time Friday. Contributions: To a charity of choice.
