Services for Jerry A. Robbins, age 69, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, Tennessee. The family has chosen cremation, with interment in the Pharris Cemetery.
Jerry passed from this life on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, in Gainesboro.
He was born on June 12, 1947, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late
Marion Alvis Robins and
Grace Wilmoth Robins. On June 15, 1994, he was married to Darlene Robbins, who survives. He was a truck driver, and loved playing music, collecting fast cars, and spending time with family. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
He was also preceded in death by his Daughter-in-Law - Eva Mae Ingram.
Survivors include his devoted Wife, Darlene; 1 Step-Son: Mike (Dana) Ingram of Jackson County, Tennessee; 1 Son -
Jerry Alvis Robins, Jr. of Robertson County;
1 Daughter - Rachel Gentry of Putnam County, Tennessee; 3 Grandchildren -
Kane Ingram, Alyssa Robins, and
Sky Williams Dawes; and Jimmy Davidson and Jeff Emerton, who Jerry loved and raised as his own sons. Other relatives also survive.
