Myra Beckham Miller, 63, of Darien, Georgia entered peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, August 18, 2016 with her caring family by her side.
Mrs. Miller was a lifelong resident of Darien, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Aaron Dowling Beckham Sr. and the late Opal Jean Beckham. She was the loving wife to Mike Miller. She was also a homemaker and took great pride in taking care of her family. She was a person that was willing to lend a helping hand or a comforting ear to anyone in need.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Aaron Dowling Beckham Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Miller of Darien, GA; two sons, Ron Griffin of Atlanta, GA and Jabbo Griffin (Brenda) of Darien, GA; A daughter, Beth Andrews (Herbert) of Darien, GA; six grandchildren; Amber Griffin, Alyssa Griffin, Patrick Griffin, Stamey Griffin, Miriah Miller, and Dillon Andrews; Four precious great-grandchildren, Aaron, Griffin, Ethan, and Layla. One sister also survives, Annette Todd (John). Several nieces, nephews, and adopted children also survive.
The family will receive friends during the hours of 3:00 – 4:00 PM Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Brother Mark Linton will officiate the service.
Mrs. Miller took great pride in her flowers and Reading her Bible. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family will have many fond memories to cherish for years to come.
