Annie Jo Fisher Bowen, 82, born and raised in Brevard, passed away peacefully at her home Friday, July 12, 2013, surrounded by those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Bowen Sr., who passed away in 1977.
A retired nurse, she loved her books, the hills, the forest and its critters.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Woodford, of Brevard; her son, James L. Bowen, of Peachtree City, Ga.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed.
