Jeff Davis Bean, II, of Moscow, KS died September 5, 2001 in Liberal, KS. Born September 5, 1926 at Tahlequah, OK, the son of Jeff D. and Ella Mae (Terrell) Bean. He worked as an Educator at the Chilicco Indian School. Retired from the BIA in 1980. Served in WWII, and the Korean War. On March 30, 2001, he married Wanda Smith. She survives. Survivors include: 1 son, Jeff D. Bean, III; step-son, Jim Smith; step-daughter, Kay Christian; a brother, Emmett Bean; 2 sisters, Annabelle Grossman, Opal Conley. Funeral service 2 p.m., Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Moscow, KS. Graveside service at 11 a.m., Monday, September 10 in the Interment Pavilion at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, OK. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m., Sunday at Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Tahlequah, OK.
