ROY A. HOLMES, 68, passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016. Born March 29, 1948, in Payne, Ohio, he was the son of the late Harry and Loretta Holmes. Roy was a very strong willed man, always determined to get any job done, and do the job well. He impacted the lives of many people, and very close friends would consider him to be their family. Surviving are his spouse, Jackie Holmes; daughters, Naomi Whitehead, Olivia Holmes, Adela Ramos, and Dominique Ramos; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. Burial in Gardens of Memory - Marion, Marion, Ind. Memorials may be made to The Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . -
