Joseph Wadleigh is the son of Henry and Elizabeth (Gilman)Wadleigh

Joseph Wadleigh married Lydia Smith c1720. He married next Mary Fogg September 30, 1725 and resided Hampton Falls, Rockingham county, NH. He married third January 07, 1775 Esther Fogg.

Joseph was born in Exeter, NH, yet moved to Kensington, NH before 1720 when he was married to Lydia Smith in that town. Lydia died before 1725 when he remarried Mary or Mercy Fogg. Joseph was known as a "noted mover of buildings" in Kensington, where he lived until his death. Joseph was the administrator of his father's estate in 1734, and inherited a large portion of that said estate, being the only surviving son. After Mary's death in 1774, he married a relative of hers, a widow, Esther Fogg in 1775. >History of Sanbornton, New Hampshire, M. T. Runnels.

Joseph was born September 1698 in Exeter, NH. He married 1st Lydia Smith, daughter of Theophilus and Mary (Stanyan) Smith; he was from Exeter and she from Hampton, NH. He married 2nd Mary Fogg, mother of Benjamin Wadleigh, who are my 4th great-grandparents and 3rd married to Esther (Fogg) Dearborn on January 7, 1755. Joseph was a noted mover of buildings and a millwright. He died in Kensington, NH on April 14, 1779. >BLH, various sources.
