Estelle B. Cheek, aged 94, died Thusday, April 12, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC.
Mrs. Cheek had lived most of her life near Warrenton, NC and prior to moving to Hickory, had lived for eleven years with her daughter, Vivian C. Rooker, in Durham, NC. She was associated with Diamond's Department store.
Proceeded in Death by her husband, Robert Twitty Cheek, she is survived by her daughter Vivian C. Rooker, Durham, NC, grandson, Alex Rooker, and two great-granddaughters, Alexandria Rooker and Leigh Rooker of Hickory.
Arrangements are by Blaylock Funeral Home which include a receiving from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Saturday night (April 21) and Chapel service on Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. The service will be conducted by Dudley Neal. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
