Warren Clayton “W.C.” Jackson, 91, of Canon, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at his home.

Mr. Jackson was born in Seneca, SC on May 16, 1925, son of the late Bennie Lee Jackson and the late Ruby Mae Duck Jackson. He was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Jackson was a United States Army Veteran having served during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Imogene Gable Jackson; son, Timothy Warren Jackson of Canon, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy Jackson Blackmon of Lavonia, GA, Margie and Jerry Hattaway of Canon, GA, Janice and Bill McLane of Canon, GA and Susan and Jerry Cline of Bowman, GA; grandchildren and spouses, Eric and P.J. Hattaway, Jennifer and Wayne Keller, Kim and Kevin Little, Melanie and David Hamilton, Robert and Megan McMurtrie, and Jeffery Blackmon; great grandchildren, Kaleb Little, Kaitlyn Little, Samuel Hattaway, Jonathan Massey, Stacey Keller, and Ashley Keller; brother, Roy Jackson of Canon, GA; and sister, Mary Ann Roach of Royston, GA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Hubert Jackson and Carl Jackson; and sister, Gertrude Phillips.

Funeral services for Mr. Jackson will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Franklin Memorial Gardens-North in Lavonia, GA.

The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until funeral hour on Saturday afternoon. The family is at the home.
