She married Orville Watson on Sept 8, 1936 and he died July 10, 1982. Mrs. Watson is survived by her children Patricia (James) Satterfield, CA, Larry (Elaine) Watson, Upper Sandusky, Constance Wilcox, Findlay, Rev. Edward (Carol) Watson, MO, twelve grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, thirteen great great grandchildren, a brother William (Mary) Arnett, KY, and a sister Betty Davis, KY. She was preceded in death by a son James Watson, two brothers, and five sisters.
Mrs. Watson was a member of Wharton First Church of God where she was past Deaconess, Church Clerk, Superintendent, and Sunday School Teacher. She worked at Swan Rubber Co. in Carey for twenty two years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and going to church.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sat Aug. 20, 2016 in the Wharton First Church of God with Rev. Edward Watson & Rev. David Odegard officiating. Interment will follow in Wharton Richland Union Cemetery, Wharton. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Fri Aug. 19, 2016 at CLARK SHIELDS Funeral Home, Forest. Memorial donations may be made to Wharton First Church of God in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 South Patterson St. Forest, OH 45843.
