Jackie Rae Freeman, age 79 of Jasper, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 3:30pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend John Belangia officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Freeman was born August 13, 1936 in Gainesville, Georgia to Carl and Ethel Whitmire. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Freeman; daughters, Neta Jarrard, Angie Jones and her brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by her son, Johnny Freeman of Jasper; granddaughter, Chelsie Jarrard of Jasper; grandson and spouse, Tommy & Jennifer Freeman of Flowery Branch; granddaughter and spouse, Tiffany and John Belangia of Lincolnton; grandson and spouse, Todd and Emily Freeman of Huntsville, AL; granddaughter and spouse, Samantha and Gabriel Vedua of St. Marys, Ga, grand-son, Joshua Jones, and 2 sisters, Betty Bruce and Millie Watson.
