Gulick's age at death is incorrect. The children of Ole KNUDSEN and Grethe GUTTORMSDATTER who were baptised at Sandsvær in Buskerud,Norway, included Gulick born 4 Aug and baptised 10 Aug 1851, Hans Jørgen b.1863 and Ole b.1868.
According to family history, Gulick jumped ship from the ODINA at Wallaroo, SA in 1886. His obituary in 1916 stated he had been in South Australia for 38 years so if that is correct, he arrived SA in 1878. He wasn't with his family on the 1875 Norwegian census.
He married Catherine O'CONNELL, dau of John O'CONNELL and Mary FLOOD, in 1891 at Kadina. Gulick and Catherine had nine children.
Gulick died on 10 Mar 1916 at Kadina Private Hospital. Cause of death, carcinoma of the stomach. He was buried in the Kadina Cemetery on 12 Mar 1916.

His brother Hans Jørgen died in 1932 and is buried in the Streaky Bay Cemetery. He did not marry.
Another brother Ole aka Allan, died in 1935 and is also buried in the Streaky Bay Cemetery. Ole married Esther MARTIN in 1907 and they had two sons and three daughters.
