Robert Wayne "Bobby" Nix, 62, died Friday, June 5, 2009, at his residence. He was born Sep. 10, 1946, in Big Creek to the late Charley Shipp Nix and Jennifer Marie Moser Nix. He was a retired Stockbroker with Merill Lynch and Furniture Sales. His hobby was playing bridge. He never married.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy McCord officiating. Burial will be in the Memory Memorial Gardens in Bruce. Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include one sister, Rebekah Winters of Hernando; four brothers, Mike Nix of Mt. Home, Ark., John Nix of Bruce, Mark Nix of Arkabutla and Joe Nix of Rome, Ga.
Pallbearers will be John Nix, Mark Nix, Mike Nix, Jay Pierce, Gene Winters and Pat Winters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jennifer Mobley; and two brothers, Charles and Jerry Nix.
