MUSCATINE, Iowa - Steve J. Miller, 53, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016, at The Bird House Hospice Home of Johnson County, in Iowa City.
There will be no funeral service. Private burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 3 until 7 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016, at the Ralph J. Steve was born on April 1, 1963, in Muscatine, the son of Duayne and Shirley Green Miller. He married Frances Kraninger on July 21, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was a heavy equipment operator and owner of Water Management. He was a member of L.I.C.A. Land Improvement Contractors of America, where he served as a state and national president. He also worked as the light tech for the band "Blind Alley" and "Blind Alley II". He enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling, and shopping. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his close friends and family.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Frances Miller of Muscatine; one daughter, Jennifer Miller of Muscatine; one son, Noah Miller of Muscatine; two step-sons, Josh Greenley, Grant Greenley, and one grandson, Parker Morse, all of Muscatine; his mother, Shirley Miller of Muscatine; and one sister, Lisa Miller of Davenport.
