A Connersville native, she was born April 24, 1961 in Connersville, one of three daughters of Jerry Lee Van Blair and Sue Ann Bates and was a 1979 graduate of Connersville High School.
For over 20 years, she was employed at Fayette Memorial Hospital where she had been an office manager for several physicians. She was also, employed at Public Service Indiana and was employed at the Miller Center for several years. For over five years, she was also the primary care- giver for her dear friend, LuAnn.
She was a devoted mother and was a special friend to many. She enjoyed crotcheting, attending festivals and spending time and enjoying activities with her family and friends.
Survivors include two children,; two sisters,; her companion,; three nieces,; two nephews,; a great niece,; a great nephew,; her former spouse,; cousins,; and a very special friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Lee Van Blair and Sue Ann Pea; her maternal grandparents, Elsie and Loral Bates and her paternal grandparents, Roscoe and Beulah Van Blair.
Funeral services will be conducted by Jack Frost and the Rev. Matt Wickham at 11 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2016 in Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on Sunday. Interment will be in City Cemetery.
