Helen Lorene Stephens, 85, lifelong resident of this area, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in Tulsa, OK.

She was born March 25, 1931 in Oologah, OK to Earnie Brazeal and the former Rosezella Wright.

She attended Collinsville High School. On November 14, 1947 she married Glenn.

Helen worked as a secretary for Shell Oil Company for 25 years.

She was a member of the Shelter Free Will Baptist Church where she was active in the Ladies Auxiliary group.

She was also a member of the Mid-Central Shell Alumni Association.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn of the home. 2 children, 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, and 1 sister.

She is preceded in death by 1 brother: James Eaural Brazeal.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Shelter Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. David Bilby officiating.

Interment will follow at the Wann Cemetery in Oologah, OK.
