Glen L. Hicks, 70, of Endwell, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 10, 2010. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Hulda and a brother J. Leslie Hicks, Jr. He is survived by his wife Palmira (Battisti) Hicks, Endwell; a daughter Katherine Hicks, Ithaca; a sister and brother-in-law Gladys and Joseph Nigro, Villanova, PA; also several nieces; nephews and many close friends. Glen was a member and on the finance committee of First Presbyterian Church, Endicott and a retired IBM Corp. employee and a member of its Quarter Century Club. He received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Lafayette College and his master's degree in electrical engineering from Princeton University. Some of his affiliations included Tau Beta Pi (the engineering honors society) and Phi Beta Kappa. Glen also enjoyed nature and hiking in his woods in Barton, NY.
