She was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts and moved to Palatka in 1972 from Fairfax, Virginia. She served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Interlachen and sang in the choir as well as assisted with delivery of meals for the Food For Life project. She loved animals and was a member of the Putnam County Humane Society and was a former Board Member. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 293 in Interlachen.
She is survived by her mother, Lora B. Orebaugh.
Memorial services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Interlachen on Wednesday, June 21 at 2 p.m., with Rev. James Roberson officiating.
