NEW CARLISLE - Jennifer Lynn (Mills) McLaughlin, 44, of Buchanan, MI, formerly of New Carlisle, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 11th, in her residence.
She was born on June 2, 1972, in South Bend, IN, to Daniel and Theresa (Fritzen) Mills. She was a resident of New Carlisle up until 3 years ago when she moved to Buchanan, MI.
Jennifer is survived by her father, Daniel Mills of CA; two daughters, Jasmine (Mike) Escobedo of South Bend, IN, and Savannah McLaughlin of Star City, IN; her fiance, James E. Miller of Buchanan, MI, who she has been together with for the last 16 years; a granddaughter, Bree L. McLaughlin; and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Mills.
Jennifer loved mud bogging, reading, doing needle point and scrapbooking.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at West Edison Church of God, located at 23674 Edison Road, South Bend, with Pastor Tom Edwards officiating. Friends may visit one (1) hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses, c/o 55351 Holmes Road, South Bend, IN 46628; or to Pet Refuge, 4626 Burnett Drive, South Bend, IN 46614.
