Mason 'Kay' Ashley, 63, of Abbeville, husband of Theresa Bowie Ashley, died July 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Anderson SC to the late Milford and Peggy Kay Ashley. Kay worked for 15 years as a security guard at the Abbeville Area Medical Center until his health did not allow him to work any longer. He was a lifetime member of the Clinton Masonic Lodge #3 and a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. Surviving Mr. Ashley is his wife of 44 years of the home; two sons, Jared and Josh Ashley of Abbeville; a daughter, Jill Ashley of Calhoun Falls; a brother, Steve Ashley of Anderson; four grandchildren, Casey Ashley of Belton, Alissa, Michael and Levi Fellows of Abbeville. Harris Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Kay's life in the funeral home chapel.
