Carol was born July 15, 1954 in Church Creek, Maryland to William (Bill) Bloodsworth and Frances Holliday Bloodsworth.
She attended schools in Crapo, Trappe and Cambridge, Maryland where she graduated from Cambridge High School in 1972.
Carol was a caregiver for many years of her life having her own business in her home. She later worked for other businesses in that line of work but her passion was always working independently for others which she did until she became ill in 2013.
One of her favorite parts of life was the many years that she spent playing softball where she held the pitchers position. She also enjoyed macramé, gardening, and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by three loving daughters, Her grandchildren whom she adored and two step-children.
Also surviving her are four brothers and sisters, and many special nieces, nephews, aunts, & uncles and special friends.
Preceding her in death were her father, William (Bill) Bloodsworth, and a brother William A. Bloodsworth Jr.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Open Bible Church, 1619 Race Street, Cambridge, Maryland. Rev David Wooten and Steve Bloodsworth will be officiating the services.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Open Bible Church & Academy, 1619 Race Street, Cambridge, Md 21613 or Coastal Hospice, P.O.. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
