An amazing lady has gone to be with her loving husband Morris who predeceased her in January of 2016. Deborah Ann McCoy of Oscoda, Michigan passed away on August 16, 2016. Born in Detroit in 1955 to Norm and Ann Witalec, she grew up in East Tawas with her sister Linda and later settled in Oscoda where she met and married the love of her life, Morris McCoy.

Though she lost her eyesight at the age of thirty, she never let it stop her from going forward with her life. With the help of Morris, her father, her sister and her nephew Ryan she was able to do so many amazing things over the years. She never considered herself to be handicapped. The items she crocheted over the years are cherished mementoes of friends and family. The meals she would produce in her kitchen were masterpieces. She was even known to drive a car now and then!

Deborah was predeceased by her parents Ann and Norm, and her husband Morris. She is survived by her loving sister Linda Seeholzer and her husband Brian, her special nephew Ryan Seeholzer who she helped raise from a very young age and the two loves of his life, Kathleen Berard and his daughter Bella Seeholzer. Also by her step-nephews Tyler, Justin and Brendon Seeholzer and their families.

Debbie was extremely active in the Shoreline Players in Oscoda for many years and even directed and played in a few of them. Her goal in life was to always be looking forward at what was to come in life and to help as many people along the way. Her smile and her laugh will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
