She was a devoted wife and mother, first lady, and missionary. She was a graduate of LeFlore High School and attended Bishop State Community College.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted husband, Rev. Leo Taylor; daughter, JaKayla Taylor; ten stepchildren; her mother, Johnita Reese; three sisters, one brother, one goddaughter, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Her remains will lie in state on Friday, June 13, 2014, from 1 pm until 8 pm
at Small's Mortuary, Mobile, AL.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014, from 1 pm until 2 pm
the funeral hour at St. Paul A. M. E. Church, 1255 Rev. A.T. Days St. Mobile, AL.
Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
