She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Clarksville.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Varnel King; a daughter, Lisa King; and her parents, Walton Lee and Mattie Lula Landthrip Overbey.
She is survived by a son, Craig King and wife, Betty, of Clarkdale, Arizona; a sister, Mary DeVey of Newark, New York; and two grandchildren, Lauren King and Scott King.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2016, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2016, at First United Methodist Church in Clarksville with Reverend Larry Kelso and Reverend David Hanshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Airy Cemetery in Clarksville.
Pallbearers will be Mike Lantz, Larry Nichols, Danny Nichols, Carson Nichols, Connor Nichols, and Scott King. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Young and Tom Pongratz.
