Kell Mrs Lela R. Craig, 92, Kell died Wednesday in St. Mary's Hospital, following a two month illness.
She was born in Fayetteville County the daughter of Leonard and Mary (Sanders) Rush and lived her entire life in Fayette and Marion Counties.
Mrs Craig was a teacher in the Vandalia school system.
She married Hannibal G. Craig, Oct. 10, 1894, at Ramsey. He died in 1928.
Mrs Craig was a member of the Methodist Church in Kell.
Survivors include four sons, Ray of Centralia; Vance of Illiopolis; Loren of Kell and Wayne of Taylorvilleille; two daughters, Mrs Dwight Briscoe, Patoka and Mrs Asa Jackson, Sandoval; a sister, Mrs Clark Johnson, Monticello; 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm. Friday in Queen-Boggs Chapel, Rev. Glenn A. Pfizer will officiating and burial will be at Zion Hill Cemetery.
