June Arlene Tucker, 87, of Fort Mill, SC, formerly of Naples, FL and Syracuse, NY, passed away August 9 at home. She was born on May 12, 1929, in East Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Burton and Blanche Packard. She worked over the years for Fays Drugs, Boy Scouts of America, and retired as a Supervisor in claims for ISO. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling, reading, crossword puzzles, working on the computer, listening to music, and kept memories alive by taking and sharing photos of her family. June was predeceased by her siblings, Donald Packard and Mary Jane Egan; husband of 62 years, James and her son, Patrick. Surviving to cherish her memory are her devoted and beloved children, Cindy Loniewski, Tim Tucker, Cheryl Conway, Brian Tucker, Colleen Tuff, and 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. There will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 4069 Howlett Hill Rd., Syracuse, NY on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 2 pm, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 7031 Waxhaw Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720 or to the Church of St. Michael and St. Peter, 4782 W Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13215.
