Christina Mary Lee, age 61, a long-time resident of the Madison area, passed away Thursday, August 4th, 2016 at her home in Rio, WI with family by her side.

Chris was born in 1954 in Manhattan, KS to Robert and Carlene Lee, and grew up in Stevens Point, WI. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and received a Masters of Social Work.

Chris derived a deep sense of job satisfaction by helping many families and children throughout the state of Wisconsin. She was most happy outdoors, and loved fishing, camping, and hunting. An end to a perfect summer evening was sitting around a beautiful campfire with family and friends.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Carlene, and her brother, Robert Lee Jr. She is survived by her life partner and true sole mate, Ricki Williams, her daughter Cori (Lee) Ball, Prairie du Sac, her son, Brandon Lee, Chicago, IL, her granddaughter, Taylor Ball, her sister, Carol (Lee) Green, Burnet, TX, her brothers, Thomas Lee, Indianapolis, IN, and Colonel David Lee (wife Kelly), Ramstein, Germany, her nieces, Megan Basara, Kaitlyn Lee, and Lauren Lee, and her nephews, Andrew Basara, Phillip Green, Adam Lee, Lance Corporal Aaron Lee, and Austin Lee.

In lieu of flower, please make a donation to the cancer research foundation of your choice.

A private service will be held Saturday, August 20th for the family.

The family would like to thank the entire staff from the UW Carbone Cancer Center and Heartland Hospice Care, and all of the terrific individuals that have taken such great and compassionate care of Chris.
