Michele Clair DeLaughter-Settle, 52 years young, was born Aug. 15, 1963, in San Angelo, Texas. She got her wings at 0000 hours on April 25, 2016, in San Angelo, Texas. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Johnson's Funeral Home.
Dearly beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and wife, she had a love for fishing (and rubbing it in when she caught them). Now she is fishing with the "fishers of men."
Michele loved deeply and lived to care for others. She spoiled her kids and grandkids, both blood and adopted. She was active in the Catholic Church and strong in her faith.
Michele was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and David DeLaughter.
Survivors include her parents, William and Judy DeLaughter; brothers Ron, Paul, Tim, Tom and Tony DeLaughter; daughters Candice Addison and husband Lane and Valerie Hix and husband Adam; granddaughters Evelyn Brown, Alyssa Brown, Taylor Hix, Hannah Brown and Bianca Addison; many others whose lives she touched will dearly miss her as well; and the father of her two daughters and husband of 20 years, Kirk Settle.
