Graveside services for Mrs. Charlotte Marie Ruhs French, age 84, will be held at 10:00
am, Thursday, August 18, 2016, at the Chapelwood Memorial Garden Cemetery, Vivian, LA, with Chaplain William "Buster" Bailey and Rev. Marty Wright officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. French was born on November 6, 1931 to Otto Ruhs and Alta LaMaster Dietrich in Waterloo, IA and passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 in Springhill. She was a member of New Sarepta Baptist Church and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Applegate and husband, Gary of Sarepta; son, Kevin Vest of Floresville, TX; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Easter of Waterloo, IA.
