Pendleton....Betty Lou (Moorman) Barr, 85,resident of Rawlins House Nursing Center, passed away Sunday evening at the nursing home.

She was born in Anderson, August 19, 1930, the daughter of Claude and Marjorie Berry Mooreman.

She was a graduate of Anderson High School (1948) and worked for many years at General Motors in Production at Delco Remy.

She moved to Middletown in 1961 and lived there while raising her family.

She was a member of several bowling leagues, sang with the Sweet Adelines and attended the Middletown United Methodist Church.

She was a beloved mother and loved her children.

Survivors are two sons: Steven (Cindy) Barr of Pendleton and Harold (Charlotte) Barr of Yorktown, VA., one daughter: Christine (Michael) Masters of Westminster, SC, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, 2 nephews: Robert C. (Janet) Moorman and Randy (Debbie) Moorman and 1 niece: Jody (Randy) Closser.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Marty Ballard officiating.

Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.

Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
