Nancy Kay Atkins died Aug. 30 at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center of complications from breast cancer. The resident of Aloha was 53 years old.
She was born Oct. 27, 1957, in Vancouver, Wash., to Gloria (Grano) Atkins and Charles Warren Atkins Jr. She moved to Camas, Wash., and at the age of 5 moved from there and resided in Portland and Aloha for the remainder of her life.
She graduated from Wilson High School with the class of 1976.
She was employed as a bookkeeper.
Surviving are her brother Charles Warren Atkins III of Beaverton; nephew Tony Atkins of Beaverton; and nieces Amy Atkins, Melissa Atkins and Jennifer Atkins, all of Portland.
