Carolyn was born the daughter of Lester Hoefle and Alice Pilcher. She married Duane A Mueller on August 15, 1953 at Zion Lutheran Church. She was a secretary at the Illinois City Elementary for the past 23 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Mueller, sons, Jeffery,and Timothy; four grandchildren, sisters, Elizabeth Schierling and Linda Perkins.
