**************************************

Elaine Bailey 73, would like you to know her service here on earth has been completed. The words “Well done my good and faithful servant” have been Spoken. Elaine was born Oct. 9, 1942 and passed away suddenly, June 25, 2016.

Elaine had the heart of a servant. She blessed so many people in the community with her faithful and steadfast service in agricultural, business and personal banking. If you were her customer, you had a wise advisor, a loyal partner, and a good listener. Whether you were her customer or worked beside her, you had a friend and a relentless ball of fire on your side.

Elaine served many years volunteering in various organizations but her service was most lovingly given to her friends and family. She loved those dear to her with a fierce and protective love. To have known that love is a cherished blessing. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for you, from the small things like make you dinner because you had a long day, listen to what is troubling you and give you advice with wise discernment, or knit you some slippers to keep your feet warm. She loved to serve others. Elaine walked out in her life, God’s commandment to love your ‘neighbor’.

For those she left behind, it feels like she was finished here way too soon…..but she is on a Master plan.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of nearly 56 years, Clayton Bailey and her two children, Tracey (Scott) and Jeffrey (Marta). Nana leaves in her husband’s tender care her grandchildren; Jacquelyn, Tyler, Anthony, Victoria, Danielle, Stephanie, and her great grandchildren; Berkley, Annablel, Natasha, Jolene and Amy, and Zaileigh and Michael. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings, she awaits a reunion with her brother Dick (Debbie) Nilles in heaven.

A service will be held Saturday, July 2 at the Community Log Church in Brewster. Services are entrusted to Barnes Chapel in Brewster.
