Mary Colleen Almany, 86, of Bristol, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016, at Grace Healthcare in Abingdon, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, W. Arntz Almany and Carrie Lee Almany. Mary worked as a seamstress at Imperial Reading for 31 years. She also worked at Gordon Garments for 2 years, and retired from Carolyn's Manufacturing. She enjoyed attending church and was a member of Norfolk Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by her special friends, Wayne and Billie Dixon. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, Virginia with the Rev. William Arnold officiating.
