Mrs. Carolyn Lynn Jordan Gibbs, age 58, passed away on Friday July 1, 2016 at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Visitation was held on Sunday July 3, 2016 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services were held on Monday July 4, 2016 at 10:00AM at the Hazel Baptist Church in Lake, MS. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Randall Creel, Rev. Sammy Stroud, and Rev. Victor Bugg. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Gibbs was a lifelong resident of Gibbstown, MS and was a member of Hazel Baptist Church in Lake, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Exie Jordan, and her sister, Marie.
She is survived by her husband, David Gibbs of Lake, MS; three daughters, Carmen Robinson (Thomas) of Hillsboro, MS, Kristen Boykin (Sammy) of Lake, MS, and Brandi McDill (Brad) of Conehatta, MS; one son, Justin Gibbs (Lacey) of Gibbstown, MS; one sister, Brenda Kittrell of Choctaw, MS; two brothers, Wayne Jordan of Lake, MS and Milton Jordan of Lake, MS; nine grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Jody Jordan, Todd Jordan, Brian Kittrell, Jamie Jordan, Cody Harrell, Jason Kittrell, Jacob Gibbs, and Jessie Jordan.
Honorary Pallbearers were Justin Gibbs, Thomas Robinson, Brad McDill, Sammy Boykin, Mike Gibbs, Tommy Harrell, and Billy Mack Harrell.
